Manna Community Center

What is our community center? It’s simply put, a place that one can come for the dignity of a host of things that the lucky amongst us just don’t even notice as luxuries. These may be things that are just there in our lives; access to showers, laundry, wifi, power outlets, a comfy seat to relax. So many of our friends that are experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity are currently living without these things, and it is our mission to make those everyday necessities accessible to our guests and create a space where people feel comfortable asking for they need.

Since its opening in February 2021, the center has been providing services that go way beyond what is needed for inclement weather.

We owe St. John’s, our compassionate host, a huge thank you for allowing us to utilize their space for this project. While we plan to be open through the winter of 2023, the center’s timeline is based off of our financial ability to support it. If you’d like to help us extend the availability of the Community Center, you can donate here.

“When you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in”.
