Kate Cardoso

Kate Cardoso

President

Joining Manna Community Kitchen as a volunteer in March of 2020 was really life changing for me. It set me on a path that has very positively impacted both my personal and professional lives. I am extremely excited to become the President of the Board and will be focused on building relationships and collaborations with other organizations in and around Northampton to help support community members who are experiencing food, housing and/or financial insecurity

Nora Finnerty

Nora Finnerty

Secretary

Nora became a regular volunteer at Manna when she moved to Massachusetts in 2018 and began serving on the board in February of 2020. She recently graduated from the University of Massachusetts - School of Public Health and hopes to continue working in the non-profit sector, both within her community and internationally. Nora enjoys connecting with the guests who utilize Manna and eating the incredibly delicious meals which come out of the kitchen.

Carl Erickson

Carl Erickson

Director

Carl and his wife Lynda moved to Northampton from the Boston area with four young children in 1976 for him to start a new job at Kollmorgen (now L3Harris) as a Senior Technical Writer. They still love it here and still feel the compassion that struck them when they moved here. That led them to become active in Edwards Church and the community. Over the years since 1976, they have been active in Edwards Church and the community volunteering, serving on boards and committees and holding different positions. Carl has been associated with MANNA since 1991.
